According to USDA estimates, about 30% of the food supply is lost or wasted at the retail level, mostly attributed to consumers unnecessarily discarded wholesome food. In an effort to reduce food waste and help consumers save money, you may find some products for sale that are past printed dates on the packaging. One way we are able to pass along huge savings to consumers is by purchasing overstock Fresh Items and quickly freezing them while still Fresh. Freezing allows the shelf life to be extended for a much longer period of time, without compromising the safety of the product. This is no different than purchasing a fresh bag of chicken realizing you will not use it before it goes bad and freezing it in your home freezer so that it doesn’t go to waste. Once frozen, as long as the product is kept frozen until you are ready to use it, it will continue to stay wholesome. We understand this may be confusing; however, we stand behind the quality of all products that are sold. We will happily refund any purchases made if you are not satisfied.
